Cirrascale Cloud Services Expands Into US-East Region; Adds Data Center in Northern Virginia

East coast customers can now receive reduced latency, improved bandwidth, and access extended direct-connect options with premium service providers.

Washington, DC — GPU Technology Conference — November 1, 2017 — Cirrascale® Cloud Services, a premier provider of multi-GPU deep learning cloud solutions, today announced it has expanded operations into the US-East region to provide private, dark fiber connections to East Coast clients combining low latency and high bandwidth at a reduced cost. Clients can access data stored on AWS East or Azure East with very low latency. The company continues to expand its operations in the United States, with this being its third data center over the past year that it has extended its services into.

"Being based on the West Coast, we are very excited about extending our services to the East and providing reduced latency as well as improved bandwidth," said Mike LaPan, vice president, Cirrascale Cloud Services. "As the overall surging demand for HPC and AI compute power continues to increase, we will continue to review our data center locations to ensure that we are doing whatever we can to support our customers and remain a leader in private and public deep learning cloud services."

Cirrascale Cloud Services offers a dedicated, bare-metal cloud service with the ability for customers to load their very own instances of popular deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe 2, and others. The company’s cloud servers use the latest GPU accelerators which can draw nearly 3000W per server requiring specialized cabinet technology for increased density. The selected east coast facility is managed by ScaleMatrix® which operates proprietary, custom built, cloud-enabled data centers designed to deliver unrivaled density capabilities, industry-leading power efficiency, and unmatched security using the company’s Dynamic Density Control™ (DDC) cabinet technology enclosures. DDC™ is a fully enclosed, closed-loop platform with integrated air handling, fire suppression, air filtration, access control, and both cabinet and facility-level monitoring.

"With some of the most advanced and highest density deep learning hardware available in the cloud, Cirrascale Cloud Services was a perfect fit for our East Coast facility," said Chris Orlando, CSMO and co-founder, ScaleMatrix. "Our long standing relationship and close technology partnership with Cirrascale has helped shape the road map of our market-leading DDC enclosure platform, which helps us stay ahead of today’s growing power and density needs."

Multi-GPU cloud servers on the Cirrascale Cloud Services platform are already in operation at the US-East facility and are available for use immediately. Customers interested in using the multi-GPU cloud service are encouraged to visit http://www.cirrascale.com to sign up.
