Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO the Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, compliance, and the coordination of an outsourced accounting firm that processes the day-to-day bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a focus on FPA, cash budgeting and forecasting. Familiarity with sales tax compliance and risk management solutions is preferred but not required. Prior tech industry experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the accounting functions.
• Coordinate with and oversee the work of an outsourced accounting firm responsible for bookkeeping functions.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses.
• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasting models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws, including sales tax compliance.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and risk management solutions to safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive process improvements.
• Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
• 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting, familiarity with project accounting, cash budgeting and forecasting techniques, sales tax compliance, and risk management solutions.
• Experience coordinating with outsourced accounting firms or external service providers is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
• Track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices in financial management.

Salary Range

$119,415 - $129,684 a year - Full-time
